Larne Port and Larne Lough
Larne Port, Larne Lough and East Antrim Boat Club
To access Larne Lough, you must pass through the Port of Larne. All vessels intending to pass through the Port of Larne, MUST CALL into "Larne Port Control" on:

Larne Lough provides excellent shelter and good holding along the Islandmagee Shore.

The moorings adjacent to the Club are privately owned. Generally visitors are welcome to use them if they are not being used. Contact the Club or call ashore to ask which moorings are most suitable. Anyone using one of these moorings DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.
At the front of the Clubhouse there is a small, concrete pier called Wymers Pier. Boats can come alongside Wymers Pier to take on water or provisions (North side, South side or on the end) at approx. HW +/- 2 hours. The pier can accommodate boats up to approximately 12M / 40 ft depending on tide. Dinghies can use the slipway or the pier when coming ashore.
East Antrim Boat Club - Summer Bar Hours
Tuesday and Thursday: 1900 - 2300
Friday: 1700 - 2300
Saturday: 1700 - 2300
Sunday : 1400 - 1830
If the bar is open you can be signed in as a visitor by any member and you will be made very welcome. During the summer months, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sundays are the busiest with racing and/or training taking place.
East Antrim Boat Club - Gate Access
East Antrim Boat Club has a security gate. If you need to arrange to enter or exit the premises please contact:
